Executive Strategy Meets Clinical Reality.

Oncology consulting for cancer programs deciding on capital, service contracts, margin and AI.

Medsolve Dynamics is an oncology consulting firm that works with cancer programs on capital, service contracts, margin and AI. Our founder, Yoel Bakas, priced and structured the deals on the vendor side for twenty years: thirteen of them at Varian on its biggest national accounts, then global sales at Mevion, strategic operations at ViewRay and the oncology national accounts at GE HealthCare. The senior consultants are radiation oncology administrators who have run the programs those deals land in. Our advice is vendor-neutral.

We Have Been in Your Shoes.

You deserve a partner who understands the pressure of the boardroom and the reality of the clinic. Our founder delivered $177M in one year at GE HealthCare, closed the largest enterprise deal in ViewRay's history, and built Mevion's global sales to $70M across fifteen countries. Our senior consultants have run high-volume cancer centers and understand the care your patients receive. We have been on the vendor side of the deals you are evaluating and on the operational side of the programs you are running. That is what separates us from generalist consultants who learned this industry from a report.

Our Core Principles

1. Relationships, Not Transactions. We are not looking for a quick deal. We act as long-term partners, fully invested in the sustainability and success of your program long after the contract is signed.

2. Trust Through Radical Objectivity. We build trust by sitting on your side of the table. Our advice is vendor-neutral and data-driven, focused solely on protecting your clinical and financial interests.

3. Unrelenting Problem Solving. We don't stop at "identifying" the issue. We stay until the problem is fixed. We bring a tenacity to operational hurdles that ensures your team isn't left holding the bag.

4. Clinical & Operational Excellence. Financial performance and clinical quality are not a tradeoff. We build workflows where growing volume does not mean compromising the patient on the table or burning out the staff running the schedule.

5. Invested in Your Success. We treat your P&L like it is our own. We don't just offer advice; we align our incentives with yours to ensure that our recommendations survive contact with the real world.

Capital Strategy

What you get. A written read of the quote or contract, the questions to put back to the vendor, and a negotiating position with the numbers behind it. Priced per engagement.

Financial Strategy

What you get. A proforma you can defend in front of finance, a process map with the leaks marked, and the Medsolve Operational Scorecard: eight measures (standard work, process adherence, interdepartmental communication, operational ownership, capacity and scheduling, staffing and coverage, performance visibility, capital and vendor position), each scored 1 to 5 on Medsolve's five-level scale. Seven of the eight are anchored to published ACR, ASTRO, AAPM and AAMD guidance, with the citation beside the score; the eighth, capital and vendor position, rests on Medsolve's vendor-side experience and says so. Each score comes with what moves it. A re-measure on the same instrument is available as a follow-on. Priced per engagement.

Revenue and Margin Growth

What you get. The business case and the organizational design to run it, walked through with your team. Theranostics engagements are delivered with Integrated Theranostic Solutions, a Specialist Partner. Priced per engagement.

AI Reality Check

What you get. The AI Procurement Review. Before a cancer program signs for an AI product, Medsolve reads the deal the way the vendor built it: the validation claims and the population they were tested on, the integration scope and who carries it, the data rights, the pricing structure and renewal terms, and whether the workflow change the product requires is one the department can absorb. The output is a written read the administrator can hand to the CFO, showing the gap between what was promised and what the contract delivers. Scoped per product, priced per engagement.
